Repaglinide is used to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Repaglinide helps your body regulate the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. It decreases the amount of glucose by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin.Repaglinide comes as a tablet to take by mouth. The tablets are taken before meals, any time from 30 minutes before a meal to just before the meal. If you skip a meal, you need to skip the dose of repaglinide. If you add an extra meal, you need to take an extra dose of repaglinide. Your doctor may gradually increase your dose, depending on your response to repaglinide. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take repaglinide exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than directed by the package label or prescribed by your doctor.
Butacort 50 nasal spray contains budesonide. It belongs to a group of medicines known as corticosteroids, frequently referred to as 'steroids'. They are not anabolic steroids that are sometimes misused by athletes.Butacort 50 is normally used to prevent and treat allergic rhinitis (including hayfever), which is an inflammation or swelling of the nose lining. This is often, but not always, due to an allergy to something in the air. It works by reducing the swelling and irritation in the lining of the nose. It relieves the symptoms of blocked nose, runny nose, itchy nose and sneezing. How to use Budesonide NaslRead the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start using budesonide and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.Shake the container gently and remove the protective cap before each use. Follow the instructions on how to properly prime the bottle if you are using it for the first time or if you have not used it for 2 or more days. Follow the instructions for cleaning the applicator if you have not used the medication for 14 or more days.Gently blow your nose before using this drug. Insert the spray tip into your nostril. Close the other nostril with a finger and lean your head slightly forward. Spray into the nostril, usually once daily or as directed by your doctor. After spraying, lean your head backward for a few seconds. If more sprays are prescribed, repeat in the same nostril. Then repeat for the other nostril if so directed. Avoid blowing your nose for 15 minutes after using the medication. Avoid spraying the medication into your eyes or onto the middle of the inside of your nose (nasal septum). After each use, wipe the spray tip with a clean tissue and replace the protective cap. If the spray tip becomes blocked, do not try to unblock the nasal applicator by using a sharp object. Look at the instructions on regular cleaning of the spray bottle.Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. This medication works best if used at even intervals. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day. Do not increase your dose, use this more frequently, or stop using this medication without first consulting your doctor. Dosage is based on your age, medical condition, and response to therapy. Your doctor may lower your dose once you have had a response to the medication. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully. This medication does not work immediately. Some people will feel this medication working within 2 days, but it may take up to 2 weeks before the full benefit of this drug takes effect.Keep track of the number of sprays used from each container. Discard the container after you have used the number of sprays noted on the package. Do not pour any remaining medication into another container. Glibenclamide, which is a type of medicine called a sulphonylurea. (NB. Glibenclamide tablets are also available without a brand name, ie as the generic medicine.) Glibenclamide is used to help control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. People with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependent diabetes) have a deficiency of a hormone called insulin. Insulin is produced by the pancreas and is the main hormone responsible for controlling sugar levels in the blood. It normally makes the cells of the body remove excess sugar from the blood. In type 2 diabetes insulin is produced inefficiently in response to surges of blood sugar, eg following a meal. The cells of the body also become resistant to the action of insulin that is produced, which means that blood sugar levels can become too high. Glibenclamide works mainly by stimulating the cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. These cells are called beta cells. Glibenclamide causes the beta cells to produce more insulin. This helps to decrease the amount of sugar in the blood of people with type 2 diabetes.Glibenclamide is a first line option for treating type 2 diabetes in people who are not overweight, or who cannot take metformin. It is used when diet and exercise have failed to control blood sugar levels. It can also be used in combination with other antidiabetic medicines to provide better control of blood sugar. The tablets should normally be taken with, or immediately after, breakfast or the first main meal. What is it used for? Type 2 (non-insulin dependent) diabetes, when diet has failed to fully control blood sugar. Eflornithine is used for: Slowing the growth of unwanted facial hair in women. Eflornithine interferes with a chemical in the hair follicles of the skin. This results in slower hair growth where eflornithine topical is applied.Eflornithine topical is used to reduce unwanted facial hair in women. Eflornithine topical does not permanently remove hair or "cure" unwanted facial hair. Eflornithine topical will help you manage your condition and improve your appearance.Eflornithine (ee-FLOR-ni-theen) is used to treat African sleeping sickness, a disease caused by protozoa (tiny one-celled animals). Treating HIV infection in combination with other medicines. If Efavirenz is taken alone to treat HIV, it may stop working.Efavirenz (eh-FAH-vih-rehnz) is used with other medicines in the treatment of the infection caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). HIV is the virus that causes acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).Efavirenz will not cure or prevent HIV infection or AIDS; however, it helps keep HIV from reproducing and appears to slow down the destruction of the immune system. This may help delay the development of problems that usually result from AIDS or HIV disease. Efavirenz will not keep you from spreading HIV to other people. People who receive this medicine may continue to have some of the problems usually related to AIDS or HIV disease.Efavirenz is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). It works by blocking the growth of HIV.Efavirenz is an antiviral medication that prevents human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cells from multiplying in your body.Efavirenz is used to treat HIV, which causes the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Efavirenz is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.Efavirenz is one of the growing number of drugs used to fight HIV infection. HIV, the human immunodeficiency virus, weakens the immune system until it can no longer fight off infections, leading to the fatal disease known as AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome).Like other drugs for HIV, Efavirenz works by impairing the virus's ability to multiply. However, when taken alone it may prompt the virus to become resistant. Efavirenz is therefore always taken with at least one other HIV medication, such as Retrovir or Crixivan. Even when used properly, it may remain effective for only a limited time. This medication is used to prevent gout and gouty arthritis. It will not treat a sudden/severe attack of gout and may make it worse. Probenecid belongs to a class of drugs known as uricosurics. It lowers high levels of uric acid in your body by helping the kidneys to get rid of uric acid. When uric acid levels get too high, crystals can form in the joints, causing gout. Lowering uric acid levels may also help your kidneys.Probenecid is sometimes used along with penicillin antibiotics (e.g., penicillin, ampicillin, nafcillin) to increase antibiotic blood levels. This increase makes the antibiotic work better at treating certain infections. Probenecid works by decreasing the kidneys' ability to remove the antibiotic from the body.Probenecid should not be used in children younger than 2 years. How to use Probenecid OralTo prevent gout, take this medication by mouth, usually twice daily with food or antacids to reduce stomach upset or as directed by your doctor. It is best to drink a full glass of water with each dose and at least another 8 glasses (8 ounces each) a day while taking this drug in order to prevent kidney stones. If you are on restricted fluid intake, consult your doctor for further instructions. Your doctor may also instruct you on how to decrease acidity in your urine (e.g., avoid large amounts of ascorbic acid/vitamin C) to prevent kidney stones. Your doctor may order other medications (e.g., sodium bicarbonate, citrate) to make your urine less acidic.Dosage is based on your condition and response to therapy. Your doctor may direct you to take a low dose at first, then adjust your dose based on uric acid levels and your gout symptoms. After you have been symptom-free for several months and your uric acid levels are normal, your doctor may lower your probenecid dose to the lowest effective dose. Follow your doctor's directions carefully.Probenecid should not be started during a sudden/severe gout attack. Wait until your current attack is over before starting this medication. You may experience an increase in the number of gout attacks for several months after starting this medicine while the body removes extra uric acid. If you have a gout attack while taking probenecid, continue taking it along with your medications for gout pain.Probenecid is not a pain reliever. To relieve pain from gout, continue to take your medicines prescribed for pain from gout attacks (e.g., colchicine, ibuprofen, indomethacin) as directed by your doctor. If you are taking this medication to raise the level of antibiotics in your body, follow your doctor's directions for when to take the antibiotic and when to take the probenecid.Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same times each day.Inform your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. NORIDAY is a birth control pill commonly known as a "progestogen-only" pill or "mini pill". NORIDAY is usually given to women who are unable to take other types of birth control pills (combined oral contraceptives) or use intrauterine devices (IUDs).It is not known exactly how the "progestogen-only" pill works. However, NORIDAY causes changes to the mucus of the cervix and the lining of the womb and affects the hormonal control system of the body which may all contribute to its effectiveness. The effectiveness of the "progestogen-only" pill is lower than that of other birth control pills. If taken according to directions it is expected that if 100 women used the progestogen-only pill for 1 year approximately 4 pregnancies may occur compared to less than 1 pregnancy in women using an oral contraceptive containing an oestrogen and progestogen.NORIDAY (like all oral contraceptives) is intended to prevent pregnancy. It does not protect against HIV infection (AIDS) and other sexually transmitted diseases.NORIDAY 28 day is only available on a prescription from your doctor. This medicine is prescribed for you and should not be given to others.
Azelaic acid gel is used to clear the bumps, lesions, and swelling caused by rosacea (a skin disease that causes redness, flushing, and pimples on the face). Azelaic acid cream is used to treat acne. Azelaic acid is in a class of medications called dicarboxylic acids. It works to treat acne by killing the bacteria that infect pores and by decreasing production of keratin, a natural substance that can lead to the development of acne. The way azelaic acid works to treat rosacea is not known. It is usually applied twice a day, in the morning and the evening. To help you remember to use azelaic acid, use it at around the same times every day.

Prednisone is used alone or with other medications to treat the symptoms of low corticosteroid levels (lack of certain substances that are usually produced by the body and are needed for normal body functioning). Prednisone is also used to treat other conditions in patients with normal corticosteroid levels. These conditions include certain types of arthritis; severe allergic reactions; multiple sclerosis (a disease in which the nerves do not function properly); lupus (a disease in which the body attacks many of its own organs); and certain conditions that affect the lungs, skin, eyes, kidneys blood, thyroid, stomach, and intestines. Prednisone is also sometimes used to treat the symptoms of certain types of cancer. Prednisone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It works to treat patients with low levels of corticosteroids by replacing steroids that are normally produced naturally by the body. It works to treat other conditions by reducing swelling and redness and by changing the way the immune system works.

This product is able to be sourced and supplied at excellent prices because of favourable cross border currency conversions. All products are authentic brand names and will include a product information insert in English.Medical Information:Klacid contains the active ingredient clarithromycin, which is a type of medicine known as a macrolide antibiotic. It is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. (NB. Clarithromycin is also available without a brand name, ie as the generic medicine.) Clarithromycin works by preventing bacteria from producing proteins that are essential to them. Without these proteins the bacteria cannot grow, replicate and increase in numbers. Clarithromycin doesnĘt directly kill the bacteria, but leaves them unable to increase in numbers. The remaining bacteria eventually die or are destroyed by the immune system. This treats the infection.Clarithromycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is active against a wide variety of bacteria that cause a wide variety of infections. Clarithromycin may be used to treat infections of the upper or lower airways, skin or soft tissue, or ears. Clarithromycin is also used to eradicate a type of bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) from the gut. The presence of these bacteria in the gut is associated with ulcers of the stomach and duodenum (an area of the intestine directly after the stomach). Eradicating H pylori from the gut allows peptic ulcers to heal and also helps prevent them recurring. Clarithromycin is used in combination with a proton pump inhibitor such as lansoprazole or omeprazole and the antibiotics metronidazole or amoxicillin for this purpose (triple therapy). Proton pump inhibitors reduce the production of acid in the stomach and help create an environment in the stomach in which the antibiotic can work more effectively against the bacteria. They also help the ulcer to heal.To make sure the bacteria causing an infection are susceptible to clarithromycin your doctor may take a tissue sample, for example a swab from the throat or skin. Clarosip drinking straws are single use straws that each contain a single dose of clarithromycin in granules. You put the lower end of the straw into a suitable drink and then sip the drink through the straw. This disperses the granules of medicine contained in the straw and you swallow them with the drink. The straw has a white controller that moves up the straw as you drink through it. When it reaches the top of the straw this indicates that the full dose has been taken. You should take all the dose at the same time - several sips of the drink may be needed.Suitable drinks are clear fluids, for example lemonades, fruit juices (without pulp), tea, milk or water. Hot drinks above 40¦C should be avoided. Carbonated (fizzy) drinks are preferable, as these can mask the sensation in the mouth caused by the granules. Full-fat milk (more than 3.5 per cent fat), milkshakes or drinks with particles should not be used, as they may clog the straw. What is it used for? Bacterial infections of the lungs (lower respiratory tract), eg bronchitis, pneumonia.Bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract, eg tonsillitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis.Bacterial infections of the skin or soft tissue.Bacterial infection of the middle ear (otitis media).Eradicating Helicobacter pylori bacteria from the gut in people with peptic ulcers. Used to relieve the pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis. Discontinued.
